Instructional Design Tax Letter Prototype
In this instructional design endeavor, a user-centered design (UCD) methodology was meticulously employed to aid in the development of comprehensive training materials. These resources were specifically tailored for a small non-profit organization that recognized the pressing need for uniformity and consistency in the creation of donation tax letters. As a modest organization operating within the constraints of a limited budget, ensuring that their staff received standardized training on the procedures for generating these IRS-required letters was of paramount importance.
By leveraging the principles of user-centered design, this project sought to create an immersive and engaging learning experience tailored to the unique needs and constraints of the non-profit organization. The resulting training materials were designed to be accessible, intuitive, and adaptable, enabling the organization to efficiently onboard new staff members and maintain consistent operational practices over time. Ultimately, this instructional design initiative represents a proactive investment in the organization's long-term sustainability and effectiveness, empowering them to streamline their processes, enhance donor satisfaction, and continue making a positive impact in their community.
